ADVANCING EQUITABLE ACCESS TO FUTURE-READY SKILLS
In 2025, People 4 People Productions’ Smartphone Film & Media Literacy Workshops engaged youth and community members in hands-on storytelling using the technology they already have. Participants learned the fundamentals of visual storytelling, filming, editing, sound, and media analysis while building critical digital literacy, creative confidence, and real-world production skills.
In 2026, we'll expand to include theatre, drone piloting and aerial cinematography, spatial computing and immersive storytelling using Apple Vision Pro, and AI-powered tools for actors.
Our next phase prepares participants for the future of work by combining emerging technologies with mentorship and culturally responsive instruction to equip the next generation of storytellers, performers, and creative technologists with adaptable, future-ready skills.
